No. THE YARD is a classic overnight hotel – no day use, no hourly hotel, no short-stay booking. Reservations are for overnight stays only. Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. Late check-out until 2:00 PM is available as an add-on for €25, subject to availability.

Yes – freshly prepared every day with many homemade specialities. Weekdays 06:30–10:30, weekends 07:00–11:00. Price: €21/person, €10.50 for children (5–12 years), under 5 years free. With the breakfast rate only €19/person.

Yes! Every day from 13:00 to 21:00 the YARD offers complimentary coffee and tea for all guests. For hygiene and environmental reasons there are no coffee machines in the rooms – instead we offer our coffee flat rate with eco-friendly to-go cups.

We have a limited number of spaces in the underground car park (€25/night, max. entry height 2.00 m). Please enquire on arrival, reservations are not possible. Since 1 June 2026, paid parking management applies on Alexandrinenstraße (parking zone 68): daily 9 a.m.–10 p.m., €3/hour or €0.75 per 15 minutes, or with a resident parking permit. Outside these hours and on streets outside the zone, street parking may still be possible.

Yes – the YARD building complex has a spa area with indoor pool (approx. 12 m long, 4 m wide, 1.35 m deep, 26°C, daily 07:00–22:00), Finnish sauna and steam bath (daily 15:00–22:00) and a fitness studio (daily 07:00–22:00). Spa fee for hotel guests: €15/person/stay, including towel and slippers. Children 7–14 years: €7.50. In addition to hotel guests, residents of the building complex also use the spa. Not a public day spa for visitors from the street. Please note: the pool is cleaned daily between 10:00 and approx. 12:30 – it is not accessible during this time.

Yes – all 55 rooms as well as the public areas of the YARD are fully air-conditioned.

Yes – children up to and including 5 years sleep free in their parents' bed. Cot and baby bath (currently unavailable) available free of charge. Children up to 4 years eat breakfast free, children aged 5–12 pay €10.50.

Yes – luggage can be stored free of charge at reception before check-in and after check-out.

The GreenSign Hotel Certificate is awarded by the GreenSign Institute Berlin and certifies demonstrably sustainable hotel management – covering energy consumption, waste and regional products.

Yes – the YARD is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted in any indoor area.

Unfortunately not – pets are not permitted in any little BIG hotel.

The YARD is well served by public transport. The nearest U-Bahn stations are Prinzenstraße (U1, U3, approx. 550 m) and Hallesches Tor (U1, U3, U6, approx. 650 m). Buses also stop nearby: line 248 (approx. 350 m), lines M41 and 140 (approx. 550 m each).

The YARD is located in the heart of Kreuzberg – one of Berlin's most vibrant neighbourhoods. The Jewish Museum is about a 10-minute walk away, as is Checkpoint Charlie. The East Side Gallery is around 15 minutes on foot, and Potsdamer Platz is about 20 minutes by foot or just a few stops by U-Bahn. The Admiralbrücke over the Landwehr Canal is at least 15 minutes on foot and popular in the evening for sunset by the water, relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere and street musicians.
